I build systems, not just screens
I build systems that a business actually runs on — the ordering, the records, the money, the dashboard behind it. Most of what I take on starts with a question about why a thing exists the way it does: a manual process that should not be manual, a spreadsheet pretending to be a database, a workflow with three conflicting sources of truth. I came through the engineering side of computing, and it shows in what I care about — migrations instead of snapshots, permissions that hold, a payment flow that has thought about what happens when the network dies halfway.

I build systems that a business actually runs on — the ordering, the records, the money, the dashboard behind it. The problems I take on rarely split neatly into front-end and back-end work, which is why I do the whole build: the screen, the server, the database, and the part that has to survive a bad connection, a busy Friday and somebody typing a price in wrong.
I am still finishing a Computer Engineering degree, which is honestly the least interesting fact about me — alongside it I have shipped a campus marketplace, a publishing platform, an AI health assistant and an enterprise CRM, and I am building an academic registry I intend to be the most serious thing I have made. If you want to know how I think under pressure, read what I wrote about ALIMS.
I will tell you when something is not worth building. I would rather lose a small job than ship a system that quietly rots.
