Project description
A final-year project that can prove it was yours, and when
The Challenge
A student's final-year project is the most original thing they have produced and the easiest to claim. Registration happens on paper, the defence happens verbally, and when two people submit similar work there is no record that says who was first.
A registry of academic IP has to outlive the institution that runs it, which is the only real argument for anchoring rather than storing, and it must not put a student's work on a public chain to prove it — the record is what is public, not the content.
The Solution
Register a project by its hash and metadata, anchor the timestamp, and keep the work itself where it belongs. The public artefact is a registration that anyone can verify: this project, this author, this institution, this date, provably not altered since.

The hard part
Being precise about what the record proves. It evidences prior registration, not authorship, not quality and not legal ownership — and the interface has to say that wherever a person might reasonably read more into it.
The Impact
The registration, hashing and verification flow built and typed. The Vercel deployment is offline, which the record and the cover both state.
