Project description
Booking where the destination does the selling
The Challenge
Luxury travel is sold on confidence and atmosphere, and most booking software is a form. The imagery that would do the selling is either absent or buried behind a search interaction that asks the visitor to know where they want to go before they have been shown anything.
Premium presentation and booking reliability pull in opposite directions: the page has to feel unhurried and look expensive, while the price the visitor is quoted has to be the price they can book at, including the parts that change.
The Solution
Lead with destinations as editorial pages — gallery, description, when to go — and let the booking flow start from the destination rather than from a date field. Pricing is computed against the selection and shown as a breakdown, so the number that reads as luxury is also the number that is auditable.

The hard part
Keeping a dynamic price honest in an interface that is not allowed to look technical. The breakdown has to be present for anyone who goes looking and absent for anyone who does not.
The Impact
Deployed with destination galleries, dynamic pricing and the booking flow complete.
